Student Meets World, in a strictly charitable effort to enrich the lives of students at no cost, is proud to offer a FREE K-12 education augmentation program called Gold Star. Gold Star helps students build self esteem, discipline and advanced skills/knowledge.
The phrase “Gold Star Family,” dates back to World War I, when military families displayed service flags featuring a blue star for every immediate family member serving in the Armed Forces. The star’s color would be changed to gold if the family lost a loved one in the war, hence the term, “Gold Star Family.” Individual military family members who lost a loved one also started to be referred to as “Gold Star Wives,” “Gold Star Mothers,” etc.
This is a FREE and comprehensive K–12 curriculum enhancement & enrichment program that is lifting up and challenging students across the nation. This program is completed at home (or a location of your choosing) and is intentionally not affiliated with any schools or school districts.
We believe that students should be INSPIRED and EMPOWERED. Indeed, it is critical for students to learn how to be independent, the necessity of hard work, the basis of rationalism, the free market, the importance of team work, honest competition, consistency and to always maintain a "focus" towards excellence.
Students learn that it is important to continuously STRIVE for Excellence. At the end of the day, some fully achieve it, some might not, but always STRIVE for Excellence.
We help students succeed by providing an educational framework based on the notion of American Exceptionalism. In conclusion, Gold Star helps students build self esteem, discipline and advanced skills/knowledge. This program is 100% charitable and not affiliated with any schools or school districts.
